On the plane back to Sydney from LasVegas I was awestruck by a copy of VOGUE which documented volumes and pages on the embellished movement, dresses upon dresses worn with thick winter tights or 70s chunky Bowie heels, one glistening more then the next.
I have always been a lover of a high glitter gown but am aware that it isn't always a practical choice to go with. However, the bejewelled look is a different story all together. I picked up this outfit from Khoon Hooi, a recent favourite of mine, the outfit comes in the shape of a beautiful grey satin top and pencil skirt, highly structured and very Mrs.Smith (Angelina Jolie at a UN function).
I think grey suits blondes famously at the best of times, but a touch of satin sophistication and chunky jewels along the thigh take it to the next level, a level I am a huge fan of.
