Paris Grey

One does not have to invest much effort into creating a fantasy in Paris.

For me the fantasy is blended with nostalgia like an intoxicating cocktail. The memories of having grown up in Europe and the feeling of being here again is an indescribably happy feeling. Whilst the romance of being in Paris adds a new and giddy touch.

My warning would be to not buy too strongly into the candle light glowing, baguette eating, macaroon scoffing, eiffel tower gazing Paris which you see in the movies or on other people's Instagram posts. I would suggest discovering Paris for yourself, for me the best things were hardly those things, but the little restaurants which you discover when you don't use google, or the long time which you have to wait for service and food, this to me says, 'sit down, relax, take your time!' Which when you get used to it is strangely relaxing.

Paris also has great night life.

If you want to know my favourite places, let me know and I'll point you in the right direction, or at least my direction.
